Meet a CLUTCH Player

Meet Mike Miller 

After listening to Mike Miller, Vice President of Agribusiness and Workforce Development, for just a few seconds, you’re struck by two things: 1) his accent is a dead giveaway that he’s not originally from Minnesota, and 2) he’s as genuine as they come.

Mike has more than 20 years of experience in domestic and international agriculture, food production and manufacturing. He grew up in Missouri (where he picked up his southern drawl), raising purebred Yorkshire hogs. His passion for agriculture and for helping companies connect with those in the farming and food sector drives his work every day.

From new product development, distribution and dealer development, sales and export strategy, Mike has worked for some of the top brands in agriculture, including John Deere and Oxbo. At John Deere, he was instrumental in building their sprayer and application business, and he was also one of the early employees dedicated to developing, launching and supporting their precision farming product portfolio. His interest in precision technology continues today. At Oxbo, he led the formation of Oxbo do Brasil, building a 20 employee business unit in just six years in perhaps the toughest business environment in the world. To say he understands business opportunities is an understatement. Plus, his degree in agronomy is invaluable when working with our clients in the crop sector.

Mike is passionate about providing top-notch service to CLUTCH clients, and his reputation in the agriculture sector confirms it. As he puts it, “Always do the right thing for the customer and the rest will take care of itself.” Not only does he live by that mantra in his professional life, he encourages clients to do the same.

An avid outdoorsman, Mike enjoys cooking over an open campfire and fishing for walleye. He and his wife Megan are raising a daughter and son in Hudson, WI, just east of Minneapolis / St. Paul.
