Director, Catalyst

Roles + Responsibilities

This role requires a unique blend of strategic business experience and acumen with the ability to interact with clients and CLUTCH teammates who work in agribusiness sectors. Experience in niche and specialty crop production is a plus. Work will range from strategic to tactical with the purpose of gaining an acute understanding of the client’s organization and business needs and objectives, as well as their sales and distribution channels. This approach enables and activates CLUTCH’s business model and differentiates the work we do by enabling impactful strategy and work by incorporating a blend of art and acumen with everything we do to deliver growth for our clients.

Required Skills + Experience

Skills required:

  • Strong written, verbal and presentation skills.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Integrated strategic to tactical thinker, with the ability to develop and execute plans across diverse teams.
  • Ability to collaborate and influence teammates effectively.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in horticulture, viticulture, agronomy, crop science, or agriculture business. Master’s or other advanced degrees preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in combined agribusiness, corporate marketing, or specialty agriculture product or crop input management.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in niche or specialty crop systems, producers, and value streams.
  • Experience managing customer relationships, managing, and working with cross-functional teams, and developing product, sales, and marketing strategy.
  • Experience executing integrated marketing and communication plans.
  • Experience and knowledge of lead generation practices.
  • Experience in both corporate and ag adviser and service-provider settings.
  • Demonstrated budget management and resource planning experience.
